hi everyone, is there anyone in the Bergen County area that is willing to meet up to help scan my mini?

I've got the dreaded passenger airbag sensor issue, and after speaking with a local mini mechanic he advised there might be several issues wrong - not necessarily the sensor mat. he said the diagnostic tool will help narrow it down.

is that accurate? I don't have a check engine light or anything and my obd2 scanner isnt getting any codes.

Right. No codes that my obd2 scanner can sense.

 

OBD2 is just drivetrain and most scanners just do the engine module. If you don't find someone I would suggest purchasing the AutoEnginuity Complete OBDII Diagnostic Tool, which should help you figure out the issue.
