I noticed while looking for the blackline taillight retrofit kit that US and EU kits have different part numbers. I always thought that the side markers were the only feature specific to US vehicles. Does anyone know the difference between the US and EU taillights or if the parts are interchangeable?

 

All Yurpeen cars have to have rear fogs so maybe that is the difference, as the EU black line kit appears to include new rear fog light lenses/bezels.

There's a similar difference for US/Euro versions on the 2011+ R56.

The differences depend on the model year.

 

Can one get this for a non-clubman? (e.g. r56 Justa?) I like the Euro lights much better.

 

There is 4 differences:

1) Made in US - Pre LCI
2) Made in US - LCI
3) Made in EU - Pre LCI
4) Made in EU - LCI

Difference between Pre LCI and LCI model is the reverse light.
Reverse light included in tail light for Pre LCI models
Reverse light with rear fog light for LCI models

For EU/Pre LCI models, bulbs are 1156.
Maybe 1157 (dual filament) for the others combinations.

 

Yes, however since MINIUSA only carries parts for US models, you'll have to import them from an overseas vendor (or find a US vendor that imports parts).
