I own a 2009 Mini S hatch with bi xenon headlights. BMW has discontinued
offering an exact replacement assembly. The new assembly looks the same but the modular has changed requiring me to replace my modular with a new modular. Would anyone know if I go ahead and purchase the new parts will I have to reprogram anything. I plan on only replacing only one of the assemblies. These parts are so expensive I'm trying not to make any mistakes.

 

Perhaps a long shot, but could you try to find the replacement at a salvage yard? If you could it would be a direct plug and play and could save you some cash at the same time.
