N14 vs N18 (changes turbo only or also non-s?)

hi all, i found a thread on the topic of N14 vs N18 engines but it looks like most or all of the comments are specific to the mcs. wondering what changes if any are included with the justas. specifically, i'm interested if the timing chain / death rattle issue i've read about was addressed. i did see alexs3d2's comment quoted below (alex please comment if you see this.). looking for verification if this applies to the non-s as well.

"Regarding the cold-start issues question:
Since the N18 incorporates double VANOS, the chain is longer as the diameter of the exhaust gear is larger. But the tensioner is the exact same part number as the later model N14. Whether this solves the issue I cannot tell, but I would imagine so."

Well the justa's aren't covered as much because they have less problems in general. The Justa's actually have different engine numbers. N12 for '07-'10. N16 for ~'10+. I believe the '10 switch over happened mid year, I'm not 100% sure. I have seen some Justa timing chain complaints, just not as many. And wether or not they've been resolved is a question I cannot fully answer, but for the N18 engines at least it seems to have been mostly resolved.
