Help with advice on buying this 2007 Mini S

Help with advice on buying this 2007 Mini S...

The guy says the front wheel shakes when ya first hit the brakes then when ya press brakes hard the shaking stops. What would be the root cause of this symptom on a mini? I can get a good price on this Mini and he just put a clutch in it and BOV and some other repairs and can get for 5600.

FYI --- Progressive paid me 6K more than what i bought my mini for after it engine fire burned to the ground total loss from aux pump recall part failed again. Progressive insurance rocks!!!

The brake shake is likely a warped brake rotor (or one with pad deposits on it). Not too bad, money wise. More importantly, check to see if there are records of frequent and religious oil changes. The big-ticket risk in the R56 is the motor, so do a little homework if possible.
