Rear brake line fittings - what kind are they?
Working the rear brakes on my bud's 2010 Cooper S Convertible. It was a Wisconsin car so the brake lines have some corrosion. Trying to put stainless steel brake hoses in the rear, but you have to loosen the hard line fittings to get them off - stupidest design decision I've seen in a long time for a car driven on salty roads. You're just about guaranteed to break a hard line!
So the inevitable happened- the hard line fitting was frozen, and instead of loosening it twisted the hard line to where I now need to repair it.
Here's a pic of the fitting on the hard line.

The brake line nut looks exactly like a standard M13 threaded part as seen here
Here's my question: is that a DIN flare? doesn't look like a bubble flare. Gonna reach out to fedhillusa.com for info as well.

Just heard back from Tim @ Fed Hill - GREAT guys. He confirmed this is a bubble flare, and that it's been tightened down heavily. Hope this helps others - if I run into problems I'll post back.
