Heated seat issue...

Does anyone else with an R56 have an issue with the heated seats taking 15 to 20 minutes to actually heat the seats? I have a 35 minute commute every day and the seat heat on max doesn't seem to do a damned thing till about half way through my drive... My wife's car takes about 30 seconds or so. Is this normal, or should I get the dealer to check it out?

My heated seats are just the opposite: Within just a couple minutes, they're too hot to leave on, even on the low setting.

On our 2012 R55 (leatherette) and R59 (leather/cloth), on max the seats are toasty hot by the end of our longish driveway! Usually have to turn them down one about 5 minutes in.

Mine heat up quick and are too hot for me on the lowest setting unless I leave the sunroof open. I love feeling the snow hit my face while the seats warm my butt.

Mine also heat up very quickly and I rarely use the high setting for more that a few minutes.

I'm sitting on an active valcano in about 2 minutes. So yes you have a problem, and I'd take it to the dealer or an Indy.
