We have the Gen 2 MINI ECS Carbon Fiber intake here. The feeback noise is great , louder then the JCW Tuning kit Intake but not very very loud. You can hear it. Also its a true CAI and with good dyno proven gains. Plus it looks gorgeous in the engine bay and fits R56 Cooper S / JCW (2007+) R55 Cooper S / JCW, R57 Cooper S / JCW , R58 Cooper S / JCW, R59 Cooper S / JCW , R60 Cooper S/ SX(ALL4) / JCW and R61 Cooper S/ SX(ALL4) / JCW .
No CEL to worry about.
