Interesting observations on a long drive today
Drove from Spokane to Seattle today after seeing some family for Christmas and thought I'd hook up the laptop and nerd out for a bit. I have the OBDCOM.COM software and cable. Car is a 2011 S with just over 41k on the clock and is stock as a rock except for a K&N drop in filter.
Coolant temps run hot in these cars, no? The hottest I saw was 220F and typically ran from 190-220. Intake air temps were rarely over 20F warmer than ambient and usually were only about 5F warmer than ambient. Perhaps their air box design is pretty good.
The cars speedo also reads about 2.5mph faster than the car is actually traveling but I already knew that from my Garmin.
