Hi Everyone,
Just had a quick question in regards to changing spark plugs. I noticed that in the US and in Canada that the R56S spark plugs get changed every 100,000km as suggested by the dealer. My 08 Cooper S currently has 70,000km and the dealer wants to change my spark plugs without inspecting stating that its just "due". I have start/stop on my car and I was wondering if this is the reason why they want to change them from now.
Thanks for your time guys!!!

I'd go ahead and change them out. In my experience with Mini's, stay ahead of your maintenance schedule and you'll have fewer problems down the road.

The S spark plugs should be changed at 60,000 miles. The non-s gets them changed at 100,000.
