Next to the mileage on my tachometer, to the right, I have a dot. Can't find anything online or in manual.

Background: my car was in shop for unrelated repairs to the computer but something they did caused the DME to go on the fritz. They replaced with a used one and got all programmed. I have to take it back because keyless no longer works and the mileage is now wrong which I'm thinking may have something to do with the dot. I'm just hoping to know before I bring it back to them. It was not the dealer, it was a local euro shop.

 

Think that's the mileage discrepancy dot I believe or tamper dot.

So it's different from the bouncing ball that goes along the odometer reading when you've got the Connected Karaoke sing-along odometer then?

 

Yep, I need to have them turn that on when they reprogram though.
