Additional Interior LED Lights
I recently purchased a pair of 12 inch blue LED strips to add to my interior ambient lighting. However, I am having trouble figuring out how to connect these. They need 12 volts to work properly and I am trying to determine the best way to connect them.
I have a 2010 Mini Hardtop and it is leased. I thought these would be a cool temporary addition to my mini cooper.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if you need more details.

you can buy one of these at any autoparts store:

....its a 12v cigarette adapter......just wire positive to positive, negative to negative....and be sure that its fused.....plug it in and youre done
i have LED lights in my boot, and this is how i have them wired up......i keep it plugged in 24/7 because the 12v socket only gets power when the car is on, so i dont have to worry about my battery draining. i just ran all the wires behind the body panels and under the weather striping and it looks pretty clean.
