Surfboard inside

Hi,

Does anyone carry a shortboard inside their mini? How well does it fit inside?

Thanks in advance

i used to carry my 6'1 shortboard and 7'2 fun board in my r56 with no problems. you will need to tilt down the front passenger seat.

As long as you are going solo, a shortboard is no problem in tilted down passenger seat. I have a tombstone (mini simmons shape) and the 22" width is about the max without interfering with the door closure and shifting. That's unbagged and 5'8". I've never tried anything close to 7', if I'm going mid length, I take the truck..lol. Conventional shortie should be no problemo!

Or you can get the mini surf racks. These are 9' paddle boards on my R56.
