I have the cable from my last tdi and was curious if it reads same as the ones shown in other posts for NCSExpert?it is obdii to USB. In case it matters. Thanks for chiming in one and all.

If you have the cable, just give it a try Our software is free, the cable is not and the German lessons come as a bonus too at no charge. I wish it was as easy and nice as VAGCOM, but nope...

 

The VCDS cable won't work at all. Neither will the "generic" inpa cables fro e-bay/amazon. IMHO the price is ridiculous for what is really a relatively simple cable, but apparently it's the only one that works.
