R56 Yellow fog light vinyl film
Yellow fog light vinyl film
Hi guys, if you like yellow fogs then you might want to try this. I was using the nokya 2500k hyper yellow bulbs which blew out twice, both within 3 months and yes I had gloves on. I went under the fender well to take the fog light completely out which took longer than I expected. Surprisingly the color result was exactly like the nokyas which has a nice golden yellow to it. Sorry I didn't take enough pictures for a How-to but here are some pictures (they actually look better in person). fyi if you want to know where I bought them, dark yellow, http://www.metrorestyling.com/

Sorry, I actually don't know. I did at least half an hour of driving with my fogs on Saturday and Sunday night but didn't noticed any issues. I pre-shrunk (applied heat) to the film before I applied them onto the fogs so I don't think the film can shrink any smaller and it made the installation a lot easier. I actually bought the film from metrorestyling off ebay, 2'x1' sheet for only $6.99 so I think it's cheap enough for you to test it out. You can probably cover your fogs at least 4 times if you mess up

I have the Lamin-X yellow film on my bug-eye Subie WRX (winter beater), and am quite happy with it. It was very easy to install, and is surprisingly durable! I've just applied the same film to my R53 Cooper S. Love the look.
Don't know how the OP's product compares, but I am just saying that I'm generally a fan of the films...
