Strange Buzzing Noise

I'm getting a buzzing type noise between 2,800 and 3,000 rpm (approx) in my 07 MCS. It sounds like it's coming from the engine compartment passenger's side. There are no warning lights on. The oil is full. The car runs fine. It seems louder when the engine is under load and I'm accelerating, but I can make the sound appear standing still with just the throttle. Any idea what is might be? Many thanks for any advice.

Is it the sort of sound you get from something that's loose and vibrating? Maybe you can have a helper rev the engine while you stand up front and listen.

When you find out, tell me too! Cary has the same buzz as you describe.
