Good evening everybody:

Concerning the installation of one of these mirrors, is it a plug and play type of install or does an adjustment need to be done to the cars software in order to make the mirror operational.

Although this was for an 06 325i sedan, I retrofitted an auto-dimming rear view mirror and used a special harness from BMW to add the required power lines to the mirror. no coding required, and it worked perfectly. I would suspect the MINI would be the same way.
