The only thing they have left to install is the rear diffuser. Tackleberry should be home sometime tomorrow. It will then go back when the hood arrives. I will have much better pics tomorrow.
So good looking. I can't wait to see this thing in person. Mickey and MINI 9?
Thanks. I am hoping to make it to Mickey and MINI in September. I missed MOTD in May since the car was not ready. Now, everything should be finished by mid-July. The President of DuelL AG is going to be in the U.S. next month and the goal is to have everything before he arrives. DuelL AG North America is doing a build of their own. They also have a 2009 MCS (Chili Red w/ white roof). They are using a different front bumper (v2.12) on theirs. They expect to have their body kit installed on Friday. Vince said that they are having the build fully documented. I am excited to be getting my MINI back today.

Oh la la. Maybe we as a MINI community could show our support and do a meet around the president's arrival? Id drive up your way to meet the man in charge of bringing these cool looking products to the US.

That would be a sight to behold. As far as I know, he is just going to San Carlos, CA (just south of San Francisco) to the DuelL AG North America facility. He was hoping I was close to them, but Vince had to let him know that I am on the other side of the country (Florida). He did not realize how far California was from Florida. It would be nice to meet him. I know he wants to see the car when he comes. Maybe he can make a side trip to Florida for a day. Who knows? Afterall, Tackleberry is the first DuelL AG accessorized MINI in the United States.
Pics just don't do this car justice..this MINI is so badass in person it should come with a warning label. The intakes look like they can swallow small animals and children and the LED running lamps make the sun look dull in comparison.

Nice Indeed!!!! Bet your one happy happy man! Looking pretty darn good bud & great work to everyone that was involved! (Thanks for all the pictures - much appreciated) Love seeing build threads that follow through.
Rear looks good, but that version of the DuelL AG front bumper has so much going on with it that I'm not and will not be a huge fan of it. BUT, huge props for actually going out and getting the full kit. For some odd reason your wheels look ginormous. Are they 18s?

There does look to be a awful lot going on with the front. The mini is too small of a car to try and fit all those angles , scoops and lights but that is pretty much the Duell MO. Quality pieces no doubt and the fun of the mini is making it your own so carry on .

Wheels are 17s (NM Eng. RSe05 17x7.5, +45 offset).
do they actually install stuff in the San Carlos location? Is it a store i can visit/buy/have stuff installed? Literally almost nothing about this location or what they offer.

They do. At GT Auto Concepts (DuelL AG North America) in San Carlos, CA, they are a full service store. You can buy it and have it installed right there. GT Auto Concepts is the Master Retailer for DuelL AG in North America. Being that my DuelL AG stuff was the first to hit the States, I was the Guinea Pig, so to speak, when it cam to installing the body kit and exhaust. Now that GT Auto Concepts has built a DuelL AG MINI R56 of their own, they are now familiar with the kit and how to install it. They also sell and install the new INNOTECH (IPE) valvetronic exhaust for the R56 MINIs.

I just got the car out of the body shop this afternoon. I damaged the bumper a couple weeks ago while a photographer and I were scouting sites for a shoot for MC2 Magazine. The car is close to being ready for the shoot. The rest of the graphics are going on tomorrow and I am hoping to get the gauges and DuelL AG gauge pod installed this weekend. Here are a few pics I took this afternoon before it got too dark. You will notice that the carbon fiber front lip in now painted to match the stripes (Anthracite Grey Metallic). The 17x7.5" NM Engineering RSe05 wheels have been replaced with 17x7" O.Z. Ultraleggera wheels.
