Does someone offer a quad driving light setup that puts all four lights even with the bumper?? I don't want to block the airflow to the radiator on top or the inter cooler on the bottom....would be nice if the bumper cover didn't require removal to install the brackets....seen a kit for the R53, but not the R56.

 

OutMotoring have a setup like that. I think they're separate brackets. Not sure if bumper cover needs to come off - I don't think so, but Euro spec front is different. Their demo car has the setup - pictures on their site. They even use the fairly large Hella 1000 lights. I used the setup with just 2 lights on my Just-a-Cooper: easy to stop the lights vibrating (just put foam between light and bumper!) but I got sick of having to be careful to park where people couldn't back into the lights.

FYI for my S I went for the 4-light bracket from VIP Custom Parts in Arizona, with smaller Hella 500s. I've had no problems with temperature (I have a gauge) even in 100+ degrees. Just to be extra sure, I removed the black grill panel from the bonnet scoop to get a bit more air into the engine bay. R56s have a clever temp setup with a 2-stage thermostats. They usually run near boiling point but a second stage cuts in for extra cooling if it gets too hot (I've never seen it happen), if you put the aircon on max and if you drive fast.
