I have a 1213 MINI S---what offset do I need 2 look 4 in after market wheels that would b close 2 factory wheels ?

 

That question is a good one but a broad one too. Pending on the diameter I have seen everything from 35mm to 45mm. Most wheels found at tire stores will have the offset listed for the specific wheel you are interested in.

My Sparcos are a 18"x8" and feature a 45mm offset with 5.9" of backspacing.

Match the dimensions there (assuming the same generation of MINI) and you should be fine. There's probably some leeway in width and offset, too, but that's less easy to quantify.
