Major weirdness. I was getting my car washed at the dealership. The guy started it to pull it forward, got out, closed the drivers side door and it locked. Engine running, lock **** in the up position, but totally locked. I got my spare key fob from home (thanks to the Mrs), but could'nt open the drivers side door without it. Mini quirk or problem?

 

So, if I read you right...
Car running (with key in ignition receptacle?), employee gets out and locks running car, and your spare fob doesn't activate the door?
That's not a glitch, as the key in the ignition is the "primary" signal with the vehicle running and won't respond to other matched remote fobs.

You would need to use the spare physical hard-cut key to unlock the door and open it.
