A/C panel swap, coding needed?

Hello, i have a 2012 mini with manual a/c.
I'm planning to change this to automatic climate control.
I've done these conversions before on other (bmw) cars with no issues.
I aready searched part nrs and wiring diagrams and found the only parts that are different are the blower motor, wiring loom and final stage resistor. Also there are some extra sensors (auc, solar and evap temp)
I have bought a used (2012) climate control panel wich will arrive soon.
Apart from the parts above wich i will change, is a used climate control panel going to work in my car or does this need to be re-coded?
If coding is needed, wich modules have to be coded?
Thanks!

Yes! There is a thread somewhere on here where someone did the retrofit.

As long as the used panel you got has the same toggle switches (or at least the ones you need) and the heated seat buttons if you have them you won't need to code anything.

And if you do need to code, that panel is the IHKA module.
