Thinking about buying a turbocharged mcs

I'm thinking of buying another MCS and this time a turbocharged. This will be for a daily driving. I'm looking at R56 or R60. The car will be modded moderately for power and road hugging. We all don't want too many big issues and that's what I need. I'm looking at a used one. Pls let me know what you thinked of each platform. OBTW, I owned a R53 which will be hand down to my son in 5 years.

I test drove new R60's when they came out. A JCW (weren't out yet) or a modded version might fit the bill, but I was not happy with the performance from the regular S engine in that big of a car; not right out of the box. No go-kart fell whatsoever either, but I do love a nice looking R60 and the WRC Countryman has been my desktop image for years. I'm wondering what these JCW Paceman's will be like. Also, the N14 engine might be a bit of a step-down in reliability from the R53, but I've had better luck with my R56 than my R53; however, that seems to be the exception to the rule *knock on wood*.
