NGK Laser Iridium
Does anybody knows what is the gap for the NGK Laser Iridium Spark plugs
I also notice when I removed the coils that one is like a little bit brownish
for a lack of a better explanation it looks a little rusted, is that normal.

According to the Amazon search tool It does not fit.
"This product does not fit your 2007 Mini Cooper

I end up purchased these, hope it fits.

My MINI Cooper is a 2008 base model hatchback. I was responding to the OP's request for a recommendation and link to a source for plugs. The OP also has a base-model Cooper, albeit an '07.
Perhaps yours is a convertible - they take a different spark plug, as they use the single-cam engine from the previous generation (R53 et al) MINIs.

You are correct. I have convertible selected instead of hardtop. The BERU will fit. I have the 2007 Base hardtop.
Interesting that Amazon search tool also show the NGK (5992) ILZKBR7A-8G will fit (which I ordered). But the gap is .032 instead of .039 (OEM). I guess I can adjust it when I get them. I hope the threading will fit.

Curious... today I installed those exact BERU plugs mentioned in my first post in my '08 Cooper. They fit and worked perfectly, as they should as they are identical to the original equipment plugs. The Amazon search tool indicates that the BERU plugs will fit an '07 - I just tried it again to double-check.

Be very careful adjusting the gap - the center electrode is a very fine wire, really easy to damage. At ~$15 a pop, you don't want to be breaking them!

The Beru 12ZR6SP03 were in my Cooper base hatchback as delivered new from the factory. I just replaced the originals with the same part.

I just installed these (ILZKBR7A-8G) in my 2007 base hardtop. Fits perfect and runs perfect. The tips on the old spark plugs were worn down quit a bit.

Easy as 1 2 3. Took me 30min or so (first time).

You'll need a 14mm 12point deep 3/8 socket. Amazon link below. Cheaper on eBay (around $15 shipped)

Minimania lists two Beru plugs for the R56 Justa, one forr those built before Sept of 2009 and one for those after that date. Of course, they never list part numbers.
So is a 12ZR6SP03 the right one for a 2010 Justa?

I did a quick "google" of some other websites - they all seem to agree, all '07 - '11 MINI Cooper hatchbacks & '08 - '11 Clubmans (Clubmen?) with the base engine use this same plug.
** this is info that I found while researching correct fitment of spark plugs for my own MINI. If you're not sure about fitment in your specific car - check with your vendor before you purchase anything.**

I would not trust the various purported "applications" of a spark plug by some geek loading an ad into Amazon OR ebay or that matter. Double and triple check all your part numbers.
A guy here once picked up a set of plugs that way which were too long, not the correct ones, and punched holes thru his pistons.....

Found what I was looking for. Mini of Atlanta says that one is for production up to 9 of '09: http://parts.miniofsouthatlanta.com/...120035933.html
They say 12ZR6SP02 is for production after 9-'09 .

See Pelican as well:

So, is there a significant difference between the "02" and "03"? (Rather a huge price differential.)

Who cares what you would trust?
I'm just sharing some info that I discovered recently when trying to buy the proper part for my car. The OP asked a question... I responded. I'm not "some geek loading an ad into ebay". I included part numbers in my posts so that anyone interested could easily double and triple check their specific application.
Maybe the guy who put in the wrong plugs and blew holes through his pistons should have paid some attention to threads like this one. All we're doing here is trying to help each other avoid idiotic mistakes like that.

Just changed the spark plugs on my wife's car. The old plugs are very brown and rusty looking. They also seem to have some carbon at the tip as well. My wife's car has 55k. I recommend changing them sooner than 60k.
