Fixing Trim

Listed below are some questions I have about fixing trim on My wife's 07 MINI. I'd really like to get the parts myself and fix these issues versus taking it to the dealer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1). Three fasteners for the passenger front fender flare failed while on the highway and now the fender is beginning to pull away from the body. The components on the plastic fender mounts don't appear to be broken, so it seems that replacing the failed fasteners and reattaching the fender should be straight forward.

I've looked on penskeparts.com, but I can't identify the part number for the fastener. On panel 51_6590 - TRIM WHEELHOUSING/ROCKER PANEL (S7ARA), it shows several different fasteners, but none of them look right. Any thoughts on what is the correct part number?

2). Second, the Left Column A cover panel is also pulling away at the top. I'd like to fix this, but I don't see any obvious way to remove the cover without damaging it. If anybody has a parts diagram to share or some thoughts on how to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated.

3). Finally, both sun visors have experienced a failure in respect to the mirror cover hinge. While I could replace each visor with whole new unit (at $60 or so a piece), this seems rather wasteful as this will most likely happen again. Do we have any aftermarket solutions to fix a broken cover or replace the visor with a superior unit?

So I went to the dealership and bought the rivets for the fender flare. Each plastic rivet was $0.84. I bought ten just in case I needed to replace all. I only wound up using four.

The hardest part was getting the broken plastic rivets out. That took forty-five minutes. Then all I had to do is place the rivets in the fender and press the fender flare flush with the fender. Easy.

While I was at the parts counter, I asked about the sun visors. The reply was $97 each. Ouch.

Does anybody know of a salvage yard in the OKC area that has a few R56 MINI's?
