2007 MC Spark Plugs

I know this has been covered under several threads but I couldn't find this exact issue: I have the factory Beru plugs installed and I'm overdue for replacement. When I search for a non-Beru (I'd like NGK's), most if not all of them are standard hex style plugs and not the 12-point. Is this a problem or am I overthinking it?

I ordered Denso IK20 Iridiums but they turned out to be hex and the length of the threaded portion was about 1/4" shorter than the Beru so I'm returning them.

Thanks Everyone

No, the hex head is not a concern.
HOWEVER! Make sure the NGKs you find do have the correct thread pitch, thread length and electrode depth.
If those don't exactly match the Beru's, you should not use them.
