Installed H-Sport Competition sway bar

This morning I installed a new H-Sport Competitition sway bar purchased from Way Motor Works. I used NM Engineerings PDF instructions and the install was very straight forward. Took me about 2+ hours taking my time and fiddling around...

Have it on the middle setting and went to a large parking lot to test it out. Front end push in tight turns is reduced but all testing was done with DSC on. First autocross with the new swaybar in a week.

Really, the front end pushes after the large H-Sport bar installed?
Try a throttle-lift corner, and you should experience some oversteer, especially on the 'medium' setting.

Get some free front negative camber by removing the Shock tower suspension pins and shoving the top of suspension toward the engine.

I definately felt the beginnings of oversteer. It was just a quick test and yes DSC was on. However you could really tell that the front end of the car was going where you pointed it more than before.

Would the combination of the competition sway bar and a little front negative camber make the car a handful on city streets at all? Would it have any bad tendancies during say a high speed lane change? Or would DSC handle that? This is a street car being used for light autocross.

Don't rely on DSC to save you during oversteer. You need to setup the car correctly in the first place.

You want more front negative camber for better steering response and turn in. Dial back the sway bar a little and start with the soft setting. That is why most people play with tire pressures to get oversteer during autoX. Change the tire pressure to get back to street settings.

On the street you want to have a little understeer and not completely neutral or oversteer. In street emergencies, oversteer is very dangerous and most people cannot correct for it.
