Do you have access to a a Bavarian Technic scan tool that allows you clear out all the MINI-specific fault codes?
If not, you're headed to the dealer; remember that removing battery power from the vehicle DOES NOT clear stored fault codes from memory.
Those faults are stored in the non-volatile memory and can only be cleared through an approved scanner.
