Hello all,

This week I ordered a 2013 MINI Cooper S Hardtop, Metallic Eclipse Gray with black mirror and roof. I have carbon black interior color line, black headlight housing, heated mirrors and washer jets, comfort access keyless entry, 16" wheels 6 star twin black, center armrest, xenon headlights, white turn signals, all season tires and premium package 2. I specifically ordered the standard radio instead of HK because at the dealership when I tested out the HK, I did see an improvement but not $750 worth of improvement.

With that said, I have a few things I would like to do to my MINI upon arrival:

1. Upgrade sound system. I can spend up to $1,000 on this. I need a sound system that I can enjoy. I have no experience with this however and have heard many different things about it as of late. From my understanding, I need to get upgraded speakers, an amp and subwoofer. Tips and advice on the best way to get this done for a decent price would be much appreciated.

2. New shift ****. I have been doing much research about shift ***** and have identified a few favorites already:

This particular option is a BMW shift **** but I have heard it is the best. It is weighted which is important and provides smooth and great feeling shifting. I would go with this if I could get some kind of guarantee that it fits on/works with my MINI. The owner of the website was not sure. Anybody know anything about this?

Thanks. I figured to prolong the life of my carpet I would get the rubber mats since in NY we have sucky weather quite often. So all the rain/mud won't stain my car long term. Considered getting it somewhere afterwards for cheaper but then realized that it wouldn't be custom fit for mini and if I'm already paying thousands of dollars for the car what's an extra 65?! Lol.
