Automatic AC?

Pretty random question...

But i wanted to know if automatic ac means that the car has the nicer temp gauge? (the one with the little screen)??

Let me know guy!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated

It does. With the standard it's just a **** with no digital temp.

I have had 3 MINIs now and the auto AC is very useful. Set it and forget it. Without auto the lady next me is either hot or cold and I am always justing it.

Yep, Auto A/C is the best; remember that it is also Auto Heat, just as good only HOTTER!! Here in the PNW both are essential, you never know what the Weather is going to do..."wait 5min. and it will change!!"

I miss the auto temp and auto wipers which my old one had but new one doesn't. Can't say the same for the auto headlights. With the manual ones just leave them on all the time and they turn off with the engine.

I had it on my 03 MCS. Did not get it on my 2012. I don't miss it. I always used the auto like manual anyways... Only benefit I saw was it looked nicer.

If that's the case I would much rather a mini with auto.... Looks much nicer and less of a headache.

One nice thing about the auto heat is that it waits until the car is warmed up to throttle up the fan.

True!! However the Bun Warmers are almost instantanious...again a much needed Creature Feature in the PNW!!
