Haven't had a chance to use search yet, but I am looking at 2 Mini's and both of them in the pics look like the back of the seats are wearing away or scratched real bad. Is this a common problem on the Mini's. I know that I take good care of my cars, but I was wondering if this is a sign of just carelessness or a common problem in Mini's. Thanks for the help in advance.

 

I'd bet they transported dogs. I move around kids and the seats look like brand new. Mine are the leatherette variety.

 

My car is just over 2 years old and the leather still looks like new. Was it the edges of the back of the seat that were worn or in the center?

He sent me an Edmund's price which under private party was about 12,000 but he is asking $13,700 for it. I might drive up and look at it and make him an offer if it looks taken care of.

 

Looks like the car has seen some hard use- maybe hauling stuff in the back that scraped up the seats.
