We had the water pump recall work done about 2 weeks ago and the rear brakes replaced. The car has run perfectly. Today we got an engine light. All fluids are fine and the gas cap is tight. It's going into the dealer tomorrow.

I'll report back the findings.

 

Could be a sensor connection or something minor. Please us in in on what turned the light on.

 

I wouldnt worry too much and maybe the tech was forgetful and like the person above me said maybe its just a sensor connector or something minor ...

 

There checking it out now. Hopefully have a diagnosis soon.

I'm still waiting for MINI of Charleston to send out something on the recall. I called them when the recall was announced and was told that they didn't have the part and would be sending out letters.... Sigh....
