What Is This?

Yesterday, I replaced the Intercooler Pipe with a length of tubing so that the muffler is removed. I simply removed the top and bottom clamp, the screww that holds the muffler to the fan shroud, pulled the old one out through the bottom and placed the new one.

Today, I changed the oil and when I pulled the car out of the garage, I found this rubber piece on the ground, near the driver's side of the car -where the Intercooler Pipe is located.

Does anyone have any ideas of what it could be and how important it is?

Thanks.

No mechanic here, but that looks to me to be off one of your ramps...not the car.
