Hose popping off after Helix FMIC install, get New Hose?

So I got a Helix FMIC installed last month and yesterday the hose on the hot side popped off while I was driving. This caused my mini to pop up an Engine Malfunction/Reduced power warning. I went to where I got it installed and they said it's probably going to keep popping off due to the increased pressure. They recommended I get some silicone hoses.

My question is is a better hose going to help keep it from popping off? And if so would the NM Engineering Discharge Pipe be a good idea for a replacement or should I just get another silicone hose?

I'm going to be installing a Forge Intercooler next week and I went ahead and purchased the NM Discharge Pipe as per Way's at www.waymotorworks.com recommendation. Don't know if the hose popping off is due to pressure or not. This is the first time I've heard anyone report a problem with it. They are clamped on so don't know why it'd blow off.
See what other responses you get.
The reason for the nm discharge pipe is because it is bigger in diameter than the stock pipe which may be why it popped off. So pressure may be a factor???

I don't think simply installing a FMIC will increase boost pressure. I would expect the inlet size on the Helix would match that of the production intercooler.

Sounds like the hose was either not seated all the way or not properly tightened.

Sounds like the hose was not tighten enough. Make them a little tighter, and see if they hold.
