Can someone tell me what front end pieces are chrome on a 2012 JCW hardtop? For a while, the mini configurator showed brake ducts and grill trim as chromed, and that seemed to match (some) press shots.

Now the configurator shows the brake ducts as black and the grill as chrome.

I've seen dealer images where brake ducts and grill trim are both black (which I like the best).

What is the right answer - all chrome, all black, or something else? Thanks.

 

I would say for anything Exterior to be Chrome other than the Grill Surround you would have to order the Chromeline Exterior Package??!! Not certain, but that is how it was when I ordered.

Factory JCWs now have chrome grills which looks decent in person but I am still on the fence about blacking it out. Fortunately the brake ducks are not chrome surrounded - I always though that looked odd on the Cooper S's.
