chili red trim?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows where to get the new chili red interior trim? I kinda like it and maybe want to put it in my 07 MCS.

Grab the part numbers, head to the dealer, order and install.
You'll find the details at http://www.realoem.com

Exactly. But is there a separate part number for the slightly chintzy flag sticker on the passenger side?

Yes, there is:
  • For vehicles with Interior surface Fluid Silver - Sticker, bright, "Fluid Silver" JCW = 51459195216
  • For vehicles with Interior surface Fluid Silver = No - Sticker, dark, "Piano Black" JCW = 51459195217

Again, that's custom painted. As far as I can see there is nothing in the parts system for that color.

There's numbers for the Chili Red door inserts; I wonder if the dash hasn't made it to the system yet.

Item #7 - Chili Red left top = 51417271127
Item #7 - Chili Red right top = 51417271128
Item #8 - Chili Red left bottom = 51417271125
Item #8 - Chili Read right bottom = 51417271126

Thanks for the replies everyone, I know it's not custom painted because its on the config for the JCW and I valet for some dealers including MINI and I have driven two JCWS with this trim.

Was looking for something else on ebay and saw these after seeing your post, Matey. These look like they're right in your wheelhouse!

Ah, JCW.. that's where it is. See http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...35&hg=51&fg=30

I was only looking in the "S" area.

Yep my Chili Red trim is definitely not custom painted

Mine was no charge with the JCW, I shudder to think how much MINI will charge for all those parts to retrofit But IMO it is a great looking interior choice:

yeah, I will have to go ask the parts guy at mini and get quote on the cost. yes I think it looks great, I remember see that pic on flikr, looks so good.
Since I don't have black head liner or black tach/spedo face, I hope it would still look just as good as yours. I was kinda worried that there would be to many colors on the inside and looks cheesy. I just installed the JCW red stitching stick and E brake gaiter, next is the steering wheel, so I thought maybe the trim would match that red stitching.

My last car had the grey/beige headliner, dark grey (not carbon black) colour line and the piano black trim. I definitely felt there were too many colours.

Do you have the Carbon Black colour line already? If you do it probably will look decent despite the light coloured roof interior.

no, unfortunately I have the dark grey. I looked inside a JCW coupe today for the second time and it has dark grey with the chili red trim, it looked pretty good but still... it had black headliner. so I'm not sure what to do. I really like the chili red trim and I am getting tired of my silver checker one.

If you saw it in person then it may be just fine. Remember it's a personal choice.

Might be a lot cheaper to remove the parts and vinyl them.

Yeah, very true. Well I'm going to see how much it will cost and then if to expensive I would consider the vinyl. Thanks for your replies.

Easy, take the part numbers and call your local dealer for a price quote.
