Can someone explain this to me?

i was installing my helix FMIC took off my stock interloper and saw this

also i bought an NM hot side boost tube off someone on this forum and didn't notice until i went to install but it looks like it had dried oil in there as well. Is this normal the picture makes it look like a lot but i stuck my finger in there and pulled some out .

Due to the design of the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) system on the N14 / N18 engines, you will see some oil blow-by collected in the boost tubes and intercooler. What you show is normal; small pooling can occur with regular driving. To reduce the amount collected, you may want to consider an oil catch can (OCC) and install a blocking plug on the passenger side PCV port.

Following up; I just removed my stock front mount intercooler (FMIC) off my R55 JCW with 11,3xx miles and there was only an slight oil film on the entry side and virtually nothing on the exit side. I do have a BSH oil catch can that's been on since 8,5xx miles (some 2,800mi mounted) for the record for comparisons...
