Hi all, 2nd service for my 2008 MCS @27k miles. Brake warning light came on during the week too, so looks like I'm just in time.

I also got the approximate cost when talking to them, and nearly fell over, $750 for the brakes plus about another hundred or so for the oil change. Real shame as I understand the brakes are covered by the 3 year/36k maintenance program.

Now the dealership have offered me the 100k mile extended maintenance program, but that's a shade under $2k. Before hearing the price of the brakes, I would have probably said no, but now I'm weighing up if the additional $1100 is worth it? I expect to keep the car between 1 and 2 years more, and do about 12.5k miles a year.
