The Beast's Build Thread

My Signature was having trouble holding all the new updates. So with each Modification im gonna have a pic of it also. So you can slowly see the transformation of The Beast. Sorry for all the big pics. I hope you enjoy

Delivery of the car bare stock. Hard to even look at the old pics of it. It looks so naked.

First Mod.. Or thing i added cause i really dont count it as a mod
Alta 4" Antenna:

Then the must. switched out tires and rims
17" Kazera KZ-J Black rims:

Then threw on a tow hook just for looks and cause the front lisences plate just wasnt cutting it

Then the dealership finally gave me my black headlight housings that they messed up on

Next was the Defenders of speed intake for some power gains and that nice blow off sounds Sorry for all the pollin, it was horrible that spring

Then I had to give The Beast its personality, it was about time, it earned its stripes

Then Had to make sure, if I happen to do something Illegal (you know just in case) that people or police would have a hard time reading my plates

Then i think one of the best mods I have done to date is the 3" custom magnaflow exhaust. DP Back (wish i could put a DP on my car but no way to erase CEL )

http://youtu.be/6uv8SfqUNwM?hd=1
http://youtu.be/C0omij5G9gA?hd=1

Then to make The Beast a little meaner, i Had to throw a transformers decepticon sticker on. Stay Evil

Then I had to Rep on of the nicest looking grille badges i have seen to date. The Defenders of speed Bandit Badge

Then next I threw on a not so accurate mostly now, just for looks prosport halo boost gauge

Next i Did some recoding for my car, Cant remember what i recoded but i know the best one was being able to close the windows with my key fob. I use that everday now. Worth the days spent in my car with my laptop cursing why i had windows 7.. dont have a pic of this so ill just post a bunch of 1's and 0's
11000100011010101101010

Next was my second favorite performance mod. My helix Front Mount Intercooler, i was thinking oh i wont feel a diffrence with a new bigger FMIC without a tune but boy was i wrong. The Beast holds boost like no other now. Its deff a whole diffrent beast after a Bigger better FMIC. Well thats what my Butt dyno told me. (sorry for the crappy pic, totally forgot to take pics with the bumper off)

Next was to match those ugly yellow parking lights above my fog lights with my xenon's so i threw some LED's in there. (they look kind of off in the pic, but they are exactly the same color)

And currently in the making i have my custom painted headlights with a led ring in the projector shroud. cant wait to see those

12/16/2011

Just got an email for JB over at black flame customs and he informed me that they just finished up with my lights and he sent me some teaser pics. Im loving the CCFL light stripes they put under the projector shroud. Cant wait to put theses babies on the beast.

12/21/2011
Today i got in my headlights so i threw them on my car as soon as possible. And WOW those pics do not do justice. those headlights look amazing. i have not been able to hook up the daytime runnning lights on them yet but ill update it later on tonight with some pics and videos of those but here is what i have right now. (sry for the horrible pics)

12/22/2011
Today i finally got the halos hooked up, For anyone who is doing this the black wire goes to the brown wire and the red wire goes to the blue when your splicing them to the side marker lights. But here is the video i promised everyone.

Custom Front Xenon Headlight Halos

For some reson in the vids and the pics it makes the light reflect off the actual light but in person there is only light on the outside ring.
And Performance Auto Solutions helped me every step of the way, even when i couldnt figure out that the colors where switched. This deff makes the mini stand out from the bunch. I highly recomend them and did i say all this besides shipping was only $270 ... Meaning Headlights repainting and halo addition

To Be Continued...

Actually, searching for a clever vanity plate I searched MINI plate or something similar on Google and saw the photo of your's, I laughed; I knew the reason of the jumbled letters without your explanation, ingenious!

Your first couple pictures remind me why stock is so boring.

As I scrolled down, my reaction went from "meh" to "sweeeeeet!"

Nice work!

Yeah there's still a ton I would do to it

But I usually HATE red stuff on black cars. Your's is literally the first one I've ever really liked.

Really good job, keep it up man.

How about throwing some tint on those windows? VA has some goofy tint laws, so keeping it stock might avoid the hassle stops, but tint would sure take your mean theme to an all new level.

Yeah that's on my list. That's the first thing I'm doing for spring. Even though I will get pulled over and checked all the time

For starters:
1.) I think you should do all the headlight, grille, and tail light trim in body color. Leave the beltline, scuttles (maybe) and door handles.
2.) Get JCW aero kit.
3.) Lowering springs/coilovers and drop it about 1.5"-2"
4.) Tint the tail lights and rear fogs.

I think you would have one badass ride.

I would go for painting the wheel arches to match the body, side skirts, and some jcw scuttles.

Sweet. That is what im talking about. I also agree with drewstermalloy. Tint the windows and if you were ever to get carbon fiber mirror covers... It would be one sweet a** ride.
