Engine cooling fan on all the time

Whenever I run the car the fan comes on. My drive to work is 1/2 mile and the fan still comes on! I've replaced the cooling temps sensor with noe change. '07 S, 67K miles. Any ideas?

I honestly haven't checked this for myself, but is your Air Conditioner always on? That causes the electric fan on my Z3 to run.

Since you replaced the temp sensor, make you have bled the system properly and have enough coolant. You may want to borrow or pickup a OBD scan tool to see what coolant temp the computer is registering. And then see if it has any codes stored.

^as he said, the fan does come on when the ac compressor is running. I've been doing a lot of cooling system work lately and can confirm it.

Air conditioning on or off, doesn't matter. Fan still comes on moments after start up no matter the temperature.
