'07 S Steering Failure

My steering has failed three times on my '07 warning light at start up, restarted and turned wheel immediately operated fine each time anyone else have this happen?

All three times right at start up warning light appears steering is extremely stiff, have not had the time to run it past the dealer. My understanding is the Mini's have electrical power steering so hoping someone else has seen this.

Pretty safe to say it's a bad power steering pump or wiring associated with it.
