coolant

I noticed that coolant in reservoir was very low, so i went to dealer and bought a bmw antifreeze/coolant. I never experienced with the maintenance so i asked one of the guy who works in dealership and he just poured into the reservoir and pour water as well. Is it right way to do? Did i have to flush and pour?

how low? if it's just a cup, just pour the coolant in without any water. normally, dealer just top off coolant with no mix of distilled water. but if u insist, u can just use a mixture of distilled water and coolant - 50-50 ratio.
