Thought those were some impressive number

Just a sidenote, anybody see this CAI? I thought it was a very interesting placement as well as very effective.

A CAI like that isn't really possible because we have MAF sensors here in the US, the MAF would be too close to the turbo, I have a feeling it wouldn't like it. (The EU spec cars do not have a MAF)

well relating to the MAF, couldn't we 1). put the maf really close to the filter? or 2). NCS code to forget about the sensor

Looks like the should move the coolant tank to the back where the stock air box was. Then they could run a straight pipe to the turbo.

384 Nm is equivalent to 283 ft lbs which is only about 20 ft lbs more than one of my last 5-6 tunes. (I’ve changed back and forth so much, I don’t even know how much the tune I’m using is producing at the moment)

Point is, it’s putting out the extra HP/TQ which is great but also based on 100 octane gasoline.

Part of the reason why I dumped RMW’s tune (mods, you can’t say crap about me mentioning them because NAM STILL POSTS HIS ADS!!!) was not only because of customer service but the last tune I got (which was fast as hell) was horrible for driveability.

Way from WayMotorWorks came to Charlotte to take a look at the RMW tune. I drove with it for the next few days (even though I had a CEL on now) and I must have stalled the car 6 times in the first two days.

Point is, typically, the more aggressive the tune, the more driveability suffers. One of things I like about the Cobb/Alta tune is it’s pretty smooth for daily driving... which leads me to my next point... 100 octane gas. I’ll stick with 93 octane.
