Ok so i was driving to Gamestop to get Uncharted 3. On my way there the wonderful noise sounded signaling something new is on my dash/revmeter. Low and behold it is a red picture of a mini on some risers like it is in the shop. Also my Brake light on the dash is always on and i don't have my handbrake on. So i am thinking there is a problem with my brakes. I have an appointment at carmax on thursday to get a part put in, so i will have them take a look then.

My question is do you guys know the problem, and should I take it in sooner then Thursday?

 

I would check the owner's manual, but I think that light (mini on the lift) just means you're due for service. As for the brake light always being on, that means your brake wear sensor has been tripped and its time for new ones.

 

You need to bring your car in for service. The car on the lift means an inspection is due. The brake light means you need to have your brakes checked.

 

i should be fine till thursday right?

 

I would think so.
