2012 Justa hatch owners - anyone have auto-up?
Hi all,
Our 2012 Cooper hardtop has auto-down power windows, but doesn't seem to have auto-up windows. I called the dealer and they confirmed that the Cooper only has auto-down windows and no auto-up windows.
Apparently, earlier R56 Justacooper hardtops had auto-up power windows. So...does anyone else with a 2012 Justa hardtop have auto-up windows, or were these removed for the 2012 car? I can't seem to find anything conclusive in the search function.

I have a 2012 and it's got auto up and down.
However, when I first took the car, it didn't have auto down or up - it was fully manual (and yet it was spec'd to be auto up and down).
Then one day, about 2 weeks into ownership, it acted bizarre and started going down on it's own. After toggling the window switch, it started behaving properly with full auto up and down!
It seems pretty clear to have been a software bug and it's now operating properly. I have read
So get this.
Our Justa does have auto up. It's just really tricky to engage (unlike our BMW, which has a clearly defined detent for auto-up on every window).
To engage auto-up, I guess one needs to quickly flick the window switch and immediately release it.
Anyway, problem solved. Can't believe the dealer didn't know about this.

Doesn't the manual say that?
Our manual is slightly ambiguous, its says to "tap" to open automatically, and "The windows can be closed in the same way by pressing the switch up." It should really say "tapping" the switch up.

I really like the way the windows work - I like that one quick touch up or down opens or closes all the way and just holding a sec more controls the distance.
Much more convenient than my Honda's.
