Maybe it is just me and I cannot figure it out, but I was wondering how to auto-fold the side mirrors, for entering tight spaces? As far as I have read, you extend the **** past its usual point (for adjusting mirrors) to fold them. I do this, and nothing happens.. Would it be broke, or what am I doing wrong? Thanks

 

Just turn the **** all the way left or right. Also, it needs to be under 15ish (or 10ish) mph, otherwise they won't fold in if you're moving.

 

Even if I turn the **** all the way to the left or right (under 10-15km/h) it wont fold at all. Is there any way to see if it is working or not? If so I think it might be my first trip to the shop :(

 

Are you sure you have the option? Not all MINI's have power-fold mirrors. If you have the cold weather package, you have them. Otherwise, you would have had to order them special.

 

I am from Canada, and have the following packages...

Comfort (Media connect, sunroof, heated seats)

Convenience (comfort access, front window defroster, auto dimming interior mirror, rain sensor w auto headlights)

I do not know if I actually have the power folding mirrors, or how to know if I do have them

 

There should be an icon painted on mirror adjustment ****, bottom center.
