Took delivery of my new 2011 Mini S 2 weeks ago 1200 miles later. I've been back to the dealer for check engine light (something about low pressure pump) door sill trim loose. Scartches under the hood dealer said rats did it. Made an appoitment for 8/31 to have the underside of the hood re-painted (warranty). Then to top it off 01:45 (8/20)this morning on my way to work 6 foot aligator ran out in front of me. Lower grill front trim right side fender trim and inner fender well damaged so far. ugh!!!

 

Glad you weren't riding your Goldwing. Sorry to hear, maybe insurance will cover repairs but we do live in FL so insurance will probably go up since the gater probably doesn't have any coverage. What happened to the gator?

 

You sure that wasn't Mr. Mayhem dressed in a Gator suit for Allstate ?

 

You are having the underside of your hood repainted? Maybe I'm weird, but I'd put some touch-up paint on it and call it good.

 

Just went out and looked at in the day light Looks like I might be able to pop it all back together. I will have the body shop look at it. Gator kept on going. The underside of the hood is a warranty thing. According to the dealer someone had a rat problem between England and the dealers lot. They are trying to track it down.

 

Funny MiniPug I have Allstate insurance and tease my wife about me being the next mayhem guy.
