I need to run some wires from under the dash of my R56 to the switch bank by the rear-view mirror. I thought of going through the pillars on the windshield edges, but there are air bags in there. How does Mini do it, and (more importantly) how do I do it?

 

You can run it up the piller. Keep it behind
The bag you can follow the oem wire path
Up to the switches. Just be very careful poping
Off the molding

 

I got it. The key piece of information that I was missing was that the little AIRBAG "thing" pops off and there is a screw behind it.
