I'm begining my search for winter studded tires for my 2009 MCS. I have read some users say some types of 15" wheels fit the MCS. I have also read that a little grinding is all that is needed to make 15" wheels work. Can someone please confirm any of this. What specific brand 15" wheels fit? steel wheels?
I've also been considering going to a larger diameted wheel to gain a little ground clearance. What is the largest diameter wheel that can be put under a MCS? I won't be doing any agressive driving since the roads will be slick when I'm running the studded tires.
Any advice would be appreciated.

 

You can always downsize the brakes. But this might be a better thread for the wheels section.
