test drove an 07 S with a 6spd manual, only has 38k on it. anyways, smelled something burning, pulled over. decided to get it back to the dealership. got it to 2nd gear, and wast rying for 3rd. clutch was in, it only grinded. then thats all she wrote. no gears at all, reverse or forward.

is this typical for the 2nd gens?

 

My has only grinded third a few times and that's only cause I didn't push the clutch all the way in. Third seems picky. And that smell must be the clutch. Don't get that car lol
